A much more competitive tournament than Lake City last weekend. This should give the two top teams last week that are true AAA level good competition with two listed AAA teams that have had play on this board as really lower level Maj teams.

This one will be a good one.

The one team you are calling AAA beat two Georgia major teams in Brunswick in a PSDS tourney in the fall. You can't go by wins and loses on USSSA results because most L's were the AA team before two teams were formed. |

The coach of the team I think you are talking about had a verbal altercation with one of our coaches on the field recently we lost that one. The boys and coaches used that as motivation to come back on knock out Sunday and win against them 10-0.

At this age it is about consistency. About one player mine being as consistent as possible and working at that. Now the team is another monster in and of itself. A team needs to prove they deserve their level status with USSSA. Prove it on the field and there will be no questions or excuses. |

Our team is as guilty as the rest. We need to work on being consistent. We have not earned our AAA designation in my opinion. But our one win against Major competition came from the TPX team and wether or not they were a factory of various talent levels they are now listed as Major and we won.

The weather outlook is bleak. Moderate drive for us and forecast is for rain, rain and more rain.

If I am not mistaken we scored most of our runs off of one of the Major starters? We had a harder time with the pitchers in the first pool game which as a rule is usually a teams inning biters. |

Karma will get you like a bad eating habits sooner or later. Unfortunate that it has to happen to kids that only do as coach asks. No way to learn the game.
I can buy that this is bad sportsmanship....But what does it say about the coach who put his kids in a position to get beaten this badly?? If you know you cannot compete don't show up...Neither team got any better from this!! I ran into this a few years ago when I helped coach, every pitcher the opposing team threw we hammered...We even let some kids hit left handed but the opposing team couldn't field a ball and the outfield couldn't even find a fly ball. Of course we stopped stealing(station to station and didn't allow our boys to even lead off) and we let a kid who has never pitch try it out but it didn't matter. I see this situation both ways...Tough situation when run-ruling the opposing team as fast as possible should be the goal to save pitching for bracket play(not so sure 27 runs isn't way too many tho) |

Want some? Want some what? I am sure our Coaches would like to give your coach a second opportunity to beat us. Will be sure to let them know. Upon review beating the Ghosts was not the monumental victory we initially thought. Two of thier aces were out one out of town the other injured. Still place my bet on Ghosts at full strength.
You guys should come on down during spring training and catch a game after. |

Great tournament wtih competitive and closer games in bracket play for both flights. This was at best a AA/AAA tournament from stem to stern. However, that is what allowed for such great match ups in the two flights. AA teams had some stunnng upsets in pool play to scare some teams and make them work harder to arrive at the ship. It also emphatically displayed to the elite that they have much work to do. |

Spoke to our coaches and they are game if your coach wants a second opportunity get a victory. And your coach knows how to get in touch with our coach. We just do no want a repeat of last time.
In speaking to the coaches and the parents come to find out that many of our parents were concerned and reported things to the TD onsite, state and national usssa officials.
