Looks as if we have one GA AA team competing along with a bunch of AA teams, some quality AAAs, and two Maj teams one with an established reputation and one with a suspect overall current season record.
Most of the loses by Major team in question was prior to the split of teams forming a AA and Major roster. The AA team should be quickly pushed up to AAA and the Major team will be solid with some new pick ups added to a good core of players.
Does not appear there will be an upper and lower according to classificatons. Looks like they will do split brackets after pool play with the top 6 in bracket A and the bottom 4 in bracket B. Looking at TPX (grey) roster, they may be the dark horse as most of those players were listed on major and AAA roster last year. Blue Claws Navy looks to be the favorite.
Split bracket with 10 teams??? People must really like second place trophies.....I see the point of split brackets with the really good TC 20-25 team tourneys but 10 teams?!?!?!
Elite Team is much improved based on conversations of how game progressed. Had some solid pickups in off season. Some kids surely drove to the field based on size. Something in water or hormones and steroids in the meet we eat?
I wouldn't say 2-0 in semi-final was commanding. Pitching was good on both sides that game and should have been 0-0 going into the 6th. Current TPX roster has only played a couple tourneys together. Still early, hitting will come around. Pitching was good enough to win.
