Happy New Year 12u Coaches,
My name is Pete Hogan and I will handle the role of this year’s NWBA 12u League Coordinator.

The large majority of participating coaches view the NWBA League as a great way to augment gaps in their tournament schedules with “player development” games. Teams are generally located along the I-75/575 corridor including teams along and west of GA400 and north of I-20. The general game plan for this season is as follows:
• Solidify 20+ teams and break into two divisions AAA and AA
• Set 10 game schedule (we tried 16 last year and was too aggressive for most teams)
• First league game to start after 3/1 and last game completed by 5/6
• Season-ending tournament to declare league champion (likely 5/17-5/20)
• Scores and records will be maintained throughout the season this year by us coaches on the NWBA site
• Records will determine seeding for the season-ending tournament
Your $145 team NWBA league fee (lower than last year!) and related forms are due by 1/31/2012. See the online registration functionality to get started. We will plan a coaches scheduling meeting in early February.
Looking forward to a great 2012 season. I’m sure a good many of you are planning Cooperstown trips which is going to be a special time for our boys, coaches, and families.
