The USSSA World Series usually has roughly 20 teams or so to compete in both the KP and CP. The USSSA 8U World Series will draw teams from AL, Puerto Rico, TN, Florida, NC, IN and sometimes Texas. I'm not sure about the CP WS but I think they have a similar draw. |

Does the PCB World series have an 8U division? We would like to go to a beach destination and my older son played there as a 9U and theyput on a great tourny back then. |

Grandslam has typically only had CP for 8U . He now has a division for KP on his web site, so hopefully teams will sign up. Makes for a great vacation/tournament. |

They advertised it, but there were not enough 8U teams last year. |

Thanks for the replies. Where will the majority of teams be going other the Atl? Like I said earlier in the post, we would like to go to a beach destination to reward our kids and parents. Most will be using this as a vacation as well. What's better then baseball and the beach!! |

Wareagle...we are in th same boat as you. My oldest played there at 9U (I think we played you during the season) and his little brother would like to play there. We had a great experience at 9U and hopefully more will try to make it down there this year at 8U. We are planning to go there but would need alternatives should that not "make". |

Consider the Myrtle Beach (Triple Crown) trip if you are playing kid pitch (get to play teams from different locations not just ga)...lots to do in myrtle beach and triple crown does a good job....also they schedule works where you can take a few days before or after for vacation time and keep them focused when tourney starts.... |

Dates for Myrtle Beach don't work best for me, and I really would like to find somewhere my 11U and 8U can play the same week.
Hopefully Grandslam will have enough this year.
Not seeing Orange Beach tournament listed, any help finding dates, web site etc would be appreciated. Will it have CP and KP?
It looks like the big 8U tournament was in Atlanta last year, which is great, but it is not on my wife's list of possible vacation spots.
Our team will be talking about this soon, hopefully it all works out for everyone.
TODDS - Not sure if we played or not, We were with Rookies at 8U, HP at 9U, and both my boys are there now. Hope to see you around. I usually have on my blue and orange if HP gear is dirty. |

WarEagle...yes we played you at 9U. We were with the South Paulding Explosion. My son was the one pitching when he got drilled in the face by one of your batters down I think in Stockbridge.
We are in the same boat again with our 8 yr olds. We too would like to play PCB as my 11 is playing there and we hope our 8 can as well. Hope to see you around again this year with both teams |
