| Sunday Sept. 25th, from 7 - 9 PM tryouts for the 14U AA - AAA tryouts will take place on field #5 at Hobgood. This team will be playing in the Spring and Summer of 2012 and will be working closely with some of Etowah H.S. coaches and leadership, as well as utilize one of the best pro hitting instructors in the area. Objective will be to develop qualified players to ready them for HS baseball. Denny Nix is the manager for this team, he has been at Hobgood for 20 seasons as a manager of many successful rec. ball teams as well as all stars, he is also the current Rec. Ball Commissioner at the park. Hobgood Eagles overall platform is to provide high quality resources needed to develop and ready competitive players for high school level ball.
