Many of you were a part of the Team Maddie Tournament last November where we raised almost $27,000.00 for Maddie Briscoe and her family. Caring for a Cause has made this an annual event to benefit a child fighting cancer. USSSA Baseball heard about our efforts and has come alongside us and sanctioned this tournament. We will offer baseball and softball all ages. This year we are playing for Ketren Waites. Ketren is a 2 year old little boy that lives in McDonough Georgia. In April of this year Ketren's leg started hurting and after many visits to the doctor being told it was "growing pains" his Mom, Tracy (who no doubt would move a mountain for any of her kids) told them she would not leave until they were sent to "Children's". That is where his family was told he had Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Ketren and his family are fighters and they will BEAT cancer!! Caring for a Cause wants to raise money for them to help in this fight. Please pass this on to all your friends.....of course we need ball teams to play but all can be a part of this GREAT event.
