No concessions or fundraising duties.

Coaches:
Jim Thomas: 10 yrs coaching experience up to 16 yr old summer High School team.
Observed over 600 youth baseball games since 2004 as tournament director.
Owner of Thomas Field and Childrens Academy Of Hickory Flat with indoor training facility.
Other coach has 13 yrs coaching experience up to 19yr olds in American Legion Level and Adult League (MABL & MSBL)
More coaches will be selected from qualified parents as the team is formed.
Goals:
With player development as the focus, each player will be able to work on their skills during practices. The goal is for each player to improve his skills while gaining knowledge of the game. Practice time with coaches will be scheduled for players to work on their weaknesses. Bat speed, running speed and pitching velocities will be monitored throughout the season.
Philosophy: Practices will be run similar to High School teams with more emphasis on skill development and hustle. Only players that are willing to work hard, take instructions and respect the coaches are encouraged to try-out
Team Formation
We will carry 11-12 players. Need 8 more players. We already have two lefty pitcher/1st basemen. Some players will be playing and practicing in the Canton Fall Ball program. Interested players can come to practices for informal try-outs.
