Most of the Mets players at 12U were on the East Marietta LL team which lost to Warner Robbins 7-3 in state semi-final. WR won the SE region and just lost to PA at the LL World Series. Beyond the 24 LL season games my players were involved in, the Mets were 29-10 in travel team games and in June, we won the Jr. Grizzles tournament 8-6 over a very high ranking team (we won prior 4 games over some other solid teams before that championship by a combined margin of 43-9) and we won the Summer Sizzler at Fullers over another high ranking team 10-9. These were great achievements for a group of kids that started slow in 2 late Feb tournaments. I'm looking for 2 talented kids that want good training and a fun experience. I have been coaching youth baseball for 17 seasons. Call me now so I can get you out to practice with us on Sunday 2-5 at Sewell Park in Marietta.
