We will be holding a baseball tryout for the 14U age group on Saturday August 13 @ 9am at Henry County High School in McDonough for what we hope will now develop into 3 different teams to be playing out of the Elite Sports Complex.
The tryout will be conducted by our own Elite Sports Complex instructors. This will be an all-encompassing tryout where each child will receive detailed individual evaluations, by our professional coaches/instructors, in all phases of the game. Even if you are playing football this Fall, and have interest in our program, I HIGHLY recommend you attend the tryout to be evaluated by the coaches/instructors. This will let you know exactly where you stand with your fellow peers in all aspects of the game.
After the tryout is complete and we have time to gather all of our info on each player, players will hopefully be offered 1 of 3 diferent options:
1. An opportunity to "play up" with our 15U BigStix program - coached by BigStix coaches
2. An opportunity to play with our 14U MAJOR team
3. An opportunity to play with our 14U AAA team
Understand that this is a TRYOUT, and regardless of who you played for last year, you will not know what team we feel is the best fit until after the tryout and evaluation is complete. We want to put players in the best situation for them to grow as baseball players. Players will be offered a spot on the team we feel they will have the most opportunities to play and develop.
