I saw, in looking at other age groups, that everyone is looking forward to next year. Does anyone have any predictions or expectations for the upcoming season? Which teams will rise to the top? Which teams could surprise everyone?

Can I request that if we are going to go there this early and without any tournaments played yet that those who respond CANNOT nominate their own kid's team? We all think our kids team is tops or else we would not have put them on that team.

Stepoff - I agree 100%. I know teams are excited about their new additions, but it is a little early to start pounding your chests.

stepoff.. I agree. I was simply looking to get an early assessment of what everyone thought of the upcoming year. Based on tryouts, which teams were able to pickup the talent needed to this year. Take that based on last years performance, which teams are looking to be solid teams this year. It is always nice to look at perceptions early, and then as the year plays out, to see if those thoughts hold true.

I'm just saying... this post would be a lot less boring if we let them talk about their kid's team.

Now that the fall season is winding down, does anyone have any thoughts? Who will be the teams to watch come this spring and what matchups are you looking forward to watching with everyone fine tuning things in the offseason.

Still hard to say, in my opinion. Most of the teams that had success in the Fall were playing with kids that won't be on their roster in the Spring.

too many good to great teams and many of them never played this fall. It was a great age group last year and I think its only going to get harder. Think of the number of kids that played up at 10 a year ago and stayed down to play this year.

Shawn, great point.... I know a number of teams that picked up for fall.

Can't wait to get started. It is going to be a long winter.
