Just wanted to let everyone know that a Georgia team just won the Global World Series in Charleston S.C.
The Chain Dirtdawgs went 6-0 and defeated the Charolette Megastars 10-2 in the finals. Played the best defense I have ever seen committing only 2 errors in 6 games. Also allowed only 10 runs in the 6 games. Dirtdawgs just trying to keep the great Georgia run going by chipping in a little from the south.
Way to go Chain Dirt Dawgs! Glad your boys brought their "A" game to that tough event. Georgia earns yet another 12U accolade. What a great year it has been, we have set the bar high for the rising 12U's coming in behind us.
Coach Clark, You guys practice, and play, as much as anyone around, so I'm especially glad it all paid off for your team.
We have practiced often and hard and it feels good to reap the rewards of the hard work. Now if I can just figure a to get these little guys to grow some.
Way to go dirtdawgs: You have made Georgia proud. This 12U group of teams has had one of the greatest years on record. I will go out on a limb and state that one of the reasons that Georgia has done so well is due to the competitive schedule we play right here in on own state. I know that the Bandits owe a tremendous thank you to all the teams, yours included that provided the type competition needed to get us ready for the season ending tournaments. Your guys play hard to the last out and I am so proud of what you have accomplished.
