The West Cobb 13U Braves will hold tryouts on Sunday, August 7th and Sunday, August 14th (info below). Wednesday, August 17th will be available for call backs and weather makeup. We are a new travel team looking for motivated players with positive attitudes, who want to compete at the AAA level.
We will have a light Fall practice schedule to accommodate other sports and will look to play 10 to 12 tournaments along with home and home series (around 60 games) through the end of June. We will begin full organized workouts in January indoors to work on conditioning, catching, pitching and hitting.

Q: Is pre registration required?
No. Walk ups welcome and a phone call or an email will be good.
Q: What positions are open for try outs?
All positions are open at try outs. We are looking for athletic players that can play multiple positions.
Q: Is your team looking for pitcher only players?
Our team does not have pithcer only positions. Players need to be able to pitch and play a position.
The West Cobb Baseball site has all forms needed to register. They are not required at try outs.

Reminder that tryouts are scheduled for August 7th and August 14th at 1 PM to 4 PM at Big Shanty Park. Please get there early to warm up and be ready to begin at 1 PM.
Catchers should bring all equipment. |

Reminder that the West Cobb Braves are holding our second tryout this Sunday, August 14th, at Big Shanty Park. Tryouts are from 1 to 3 PM.

Thank you again to all the players that came out and battled the heat over the last couple of weekends. Terrific talent came out to our open tryouts and decisions have not been easy.

We're looking for a hard throwing Pitcher that can also play middle infield or outfield. If your son feels he fits the mold and wants to jump right into our pitching rotation, please give me a call.
