The 2012 13U Northview Jr. Titans will be holding tryouts on Thursday, July 28th at the Northview HS baseball field from 7:00pm – 9:00pm (check-in starts @ 6:30). We're in the Duluth/Johns Creek area and are looking for Travel baseball-ready players who are prepared to hustle, focus on the fundamentals and developing a deeper respect for the game of baseball while having fun!

The Jr. Titans team is a feeder program for Northview High School, so we hope to have 8 (of 12) of our roster spots filled with kids who are zoned for Northview, but we're open to players from anywhere as long as they're competitive at the high AA through AAA Travel level.
We plan to play 35-45 games in 2012, with voluntary workouts beginning in the Fall (giving players the opportunity to enjoy other sports during the fall and early winter). We also have use of Northview's varsity baseball indoor hitting/pitching facility, which is an added plus during colder months. Field practices begin in February, and we plan to conclude our season with a trip to the Ripken Experience (Myrtle Beach) in June/July of next year. Our schedule will be balanced between Lanier League games and tournaments (4-6), as well as local games with other Travel teams. EVERY member of our squad will bat in all games.

Due to bad field conditions at Northview HS tonights tryouts have been moved to Bunten Rd. Park.
Field #1 At Bunten Road Park.
Directions to Bunten Road Johns Creek Area:
• From Medlock Bridge Road/141 - turn Left (East) on 120E/Abbots Bridge Road
• Take 120E/Abbotss Bridge Rd. East for 1.3m
• Turn Left at Peachtree Industrial Blvd: and go 1.2 Miles
• Turn Righ at Rogers Bridge Road and go 1.1 miles
• Continue straight onto Old Peachtree Road - another 0.5miles (Rogers turns into Old P'Tree)
• Turn Right at Bunten Road
• Follow Signs to Field Number 1.
