Reminder about our tryouts this Sunday, July 24
Titans Baseball (formerly Shiloh Titans) will hold it 2012 tryouts on July 24th at 2:00 at Mountain View High School.
This will be a Major/Elite team, and will offer an unique and rewarding opportunity to play on an established, successful, top level team, in Gwinnett County, with top notch professional instruction. This will be the 4th year for the Titans, and our boys continue to develop and compete against the best teams/players around. We have an excellent group of core dedicated families, that are looking forward to another ejoyable and successful season.
The Titans are very excited to have instruction this season from Kevin Renz, and his Baseball Academy throughout the season. We will have fielding/defense and hitting at least two days a week, and pitching/catching once a week. Practices will take place both indoors and outdoors, and will be at a high pace, high school structure, that will push and challenge our boys to play at their highest potential. This structured, high intensity practice schedule during the week, will allow the boys to excel during game time on the weekends.
We will play a light (12-15 games) fall schedule around our families other commitments, then play the top 10-15 Major/Elite tournaments come Spring. We have secured a berth, and will play in Cooperstown in 2012.
The 2012 Titans will be a high level team, so we are looking for players and families that want to compete against the best, and are willing to dedicate the time and effort to challenge our players. There are no current set positions or batting order spots, playing time will be fairly earned and rewarded.
