The team formerly known as the 13U FCA Patriots is changing it's name for 14U. The 13U FCA Patriots enjoyed a very successful year both on and off the field in 2011. Playing over .500 baseball, we advanced to the semi-finals or finals in over half of the 13 tournaments played for both fall and spring. For 2012, the former FCA Patriots will be known as Saints Baseball.
Saints Baseball is a faith based baseball club whose mission is to provide advanced baseball training for young men while providing Christian outreach opportunities within the community. We are a select baseball team founded on Christian Principles and family friendships. Saints Baseball will strive to mentor Christian young men, develop family relationships and be a light within the community we serve. Make no mistake, winning baseball games will be held in high regard, however fostering a character preparing our young men to win in life will be considered a success. All of our coaches have a great deal of travel baseball coaching experience and a demonstrated track record of success. With college playing experience amongst our coaches, one of our goals for our young men will be to prepare them for high school baseball and beyond.
For 2012, we will play a fall schedule from September to November. while encouraging our young men to play other sports. In January we will go indoors where we will prepare for the 2012 season with speed and conditioning as well as training with professional instructors. Beginning in February,we would anticipate playing approximately 10-12 tournaments, the equivalent of a 50-60+ game schedule. We will end our season with a yet to be determined end of season tournament in June. This year some of our young men and families went to the Dominican Republic for a baseball mission trip. Team members will have this remarkable opportunity in 2012.
The majority of the 13U FCA Patriots will be returning as Saints in 2012. We are looking for athletic baseball players, with great attitudes, who want to work hard and become the best baseball players they can be. Unlike most 14U teams, we will limit our roster size,which creates more playing time for our young men.
We will be hosting tryouts on Saturday July 30, from 10-12 PM at the Dominion Christian School Baseball Complex at Burnt Hickory Road in Marietta. Registration will begin at 9am.
Call backs will be scheduled for the following day. Although we encourage everyone to attend the tryouts, individual workouts will be scheduled for those who are unable to make the tryouts. We will not charge any fees for those wishing to try out. Our tryouts are highly organized and efficient.

Absolutely. For those families who are interested in joining Saints Baseball, we think it is important for players,families and coaches to get to know one another, particularly in a non-tryout situation.

We will not be having our workout at Marietta Indoor Sports on Thursday as we had previioiusly announced, but do look forward to seeing everyone at our tryouts this coming Saturday at Dominion Christian School on Burnt Hickory Road in Marietta. We will meet with the parents beginning at 945 to discuss the process for tryouts and to answer questions.The boys should have warmed up and ready to hit the field at 10 sharp.
