The Georgia Stars coaches are scheduling private tryouts for the 2012 15U and 16U Georgia Stars season beginning the weekend of July 23rd.
2012 16U Georgia Stars Edward Waters, head coach for the 2012 16U season, and Coach Pascanel Ferreras, are looking for major/elite level middle infielders and several pitchers only to round out a core group of returning players who have had a successful 2011 season. The existing coaches will be adding a designated pitching coach for the upcoming season. 2012 15U Georgia Stars The 2011 14U Georgia Buckeyes are changing their name this upcoming season to the 2012 15U Georgia Stars. While Edward Waters will be the General Manager, the 15U Georgia Stars will be coached by Head Coach Art Smith. After having a successful 2011 season (22-10), the newly named 15U Georgia Stars (formerly known as the 14U Georgia Buckeyes) are scheduling private tryouts for the 2012 season. The coaches will be evaluating players at all positions defensively as well as offensively.
