13u outfielder/pitcher (primary) and 1B/3B (secondary) looking for team to get more play this summer. Will also be looking for a fall ball team.
Turns 14 in September. 5'9, 150 lbs and hitting his growth spurt. Going to be a bigger kid. Bats left, throws right.
Smart batter, consistent line drive/ground ball hitter, been hitting in the 3 spot and can bunt. OBP>750 and BA >400.
Strong outfielder, good baseball IQ, good speed, strong arm for throws from right to 3B or home.
Good pitcher, good velocity on fast balls with movement, hits his locations, first pitch strikes above 60%. Great change up and breaking pitches and can mix it up.
Good attitude, hard worker, takes instruction well. Puts in additional work outside of team with physical training through BPC and instruction for hitting, pitching, and fielding.
Several years travel experience AAA to Major level. Located in East Cobb Marietta area.

We would love to have your son come and tryout for the 13u Sandy Springs Longhorns. Our tryouts are next Wednesday and Thursday from 6 to 8 pm at Morgan Falls Park.
We are specifically looking for high-quality pitchers, so your son would be more than welcome. I was a college pitcher, so I tend to work hands-on with all of our staff.
