| The 2012 East Cobb Astros will hold an open workout July 20-21 at 6:00 for any rising 12 year old who is interested in being an Astro. The workout will be held at East Cobb Baseball and is meant as a supplement to, not a replacement for, the traditional East Cobb tryout clinics. The format will consist of a traditional pro style workout on the 20th and a live scrimmage on the 21st with/against the current Astros. The 2012 12U Astros will once again be coached by Wes Fields. To date, the current Astros have claimed the USSSA State Championship as well as qualifying for the USSSA ELite 32.
