You guys have been killing me with the silent treatment on the 13u board.
Congrats to Signature Park Hawks on winning week one of the Grand Slam World series down in Panama City Beach Florida.
There also with a good showing was ECB Longhorns and Team Wilson.
Lets keep those titles coming back to Georgia!
Would like to hear a little from the parents(grand parents) about this years tournament in P.C.
Grand Slam LLWS wk2 in P.C. starts tomorrow along with USSSA LLWS wk1 in Orange Beach Al.
Both have some strong Ga. teams signed up.
I see DSB Diablos have signed up for back to back World Series. First in Grand Slam Wk2 in P.C. then down the road to Orange Beach for USSSA wk2(wish my boss would let me off for two weeks straight). Maybe 2 LLWS titles in consecutive weeks???
Any predictions for these tournaments?
How's the prepping going for those few teams attending the "Elite-32" down in Disney? Are the injuries healed up and back to 100%?
Have you locked up those 3 extra players to put you over the top??Who picked up whom and from what teams(no kids names)just positions.
Predictions on which Ga. team advances the farthest in the Elites?

Stealth are headed down to Orange Beach and now have all 11 at 100% so they are hoping to do some damage.
They won State West and FINAL 4 but feel they have another gear to tap into..
Not picking up anyone...going with what has worked. We all wish them luck .

| They were alot of good teams at the Grand Slam Tourn. the week of the 27th. Team Wilson made a great run to the Semi's on Saturday. They played an Aquasox team on Saturday and had to come from behind to beat them and then almost held on to beat a very good and well coached Signature Park team. Congratulation to the Signature Park Hawks. There were alot of very good games during this week of baseball. |

| Diablos, Elite Gamers, and SM Thunder all 2-0 in pool play. I Believe SM won their first bracket game so great job so far in PCB for GA teams. Stayed tuned more to come. |

Looking at the box scores, SM Thunder have given up 12, Elite Gamers have given up 1, and DSB Diablos have given up 1. Good showing so far. The big games come on Friday. DSB Diablos may have the easiest route to the finals after looking at the brackets and the match-ups. Gamers meet the BL Outlaws on Friday. I think these two should meet up later in the finals. The loser has a longgggg road back to the championship game. BL outlaws and the Gamers were my choices to win before play started. Gamers are the returning LLWS champions from last year and have made some great pick ups for this series. Bl Outlaws are one of the stronger teams from Alabama. DSB Diablos have a good team but I don't know if they have the horses to match up with the Major teams bullpens(No disrespect). Proway and Jack Coyotes are the dark horses(don't know much about but have looked good in early play) .
Double elimination can make for a long week in the sun. Eight possible games if you drop to the losers bracket and only 4 more if you continue to win.
Plenty of good ball yet to be played. And you still have to play the game first. Anyone can win!! |

Dunwoody Vipers and Mill Creek Hawks...4 games each and 4 losses each. Coming home after vacationing at P.C. beach. Copperheads win and advance to Friday. Waiting on Scorpions and Ga. Selects score.
Scorpions coming home, Ga. Select playing on.

Another couple of big games at 4:20 this after noon.
Lets keep the Georgia teams winning. Maybe 2 years in a row of Georgia teams in the finals.

Gamers win!!! 14-0 over Coyotes. Gave up 1 hit in four innings of shut out ball. Waiting on DSB Diablos final score (they're up 8-3 in the 3rd or 4th).
Final...DSB diablos win 10-3.

Only fitting these two(1 and 2 seeded teams)meet in this game. Should be a great match up. Both teams have been knocking the cover off the ball and keeping the other teams off the score board. Diablos have scored 26 runs while allowing 6. The Gamers have scored 40 runs while allowing 2.
Tough game to call.
Who comes out of the losers bracket? Those teams have to play 2 more games just to meet the loser of this game. A reallll longggg day for those teams tomorrow.

| 6 to 6 in 8th. Great game. But the outlaws had a huge top of 8 scoring 12 runs to take care of business. Hats off to SM giving the Outlaws all they could handle. |

Gamers win!!! Great game. 3-2. Diablos gave the Gamers all they could handle. Gamers went up in the top of the 7th 3-0 and the Diablos put bring 2 in the bottom and end the game with the bases loaded. GREAT GAME!!! Hats off to the DIABLOS.
We'll see you in the finals I'm sure. |

by far # 1 is the Elite 32 World Series
#2 i think is the CABA world series in Indiana..
