The 13U Kennesaw Generals (formerly the Kennesaw Krush) will hold tryouts for the 2011 - 2012 fall and spring season on Saturday, July 30th from 2:30 - 4:30 PM. Tryouts will be held at Adams Park on Field 6 (the uppermost field). A call back session will be held on Wednesday, August 3 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. The tryout will be led by the Generals coaching staff and professional instructors from JCS Sports. The tryout is free of charge for all participants.
The 13U Kennesaw Generals have a multi-year travel baseball experienced coaching staff dedicated to developing strong team and position-specific fundamentals as players continue their progression toward high school baseball. Our program includes an intense coaching staff+professional instruction led fundamentals program in the fall with an offseason conditioning and player development program throughout the winter leading up to the spring tournament season.
The 13U Kennesaw Generals play out of Adams Park in downtown Kennesaw, Georgia with dedicated field access, indoor and outdoor cage facilities, and full support of the Kennesaw Baseball Association. From South: Take I75 North to the Chastain Road Exit, approx. 12 miles north of I285. Turn left, toward Kennesaw. (follow directions below)
From North: Take I75 South to the Chastain Road Exit. Turn right, toward Kennesaw. (follow directions below)
Continue for about 2.5 miles to US Hwy 41 (Chastain road turns into McCollum Parkway). Turn right (North) on US Hwy 41 for approx. 1 mile to Watts Drive. Turn right on Watts Drive (Citgo Gas Station) and then turn left (After Car Wash) into the new portion of Adams Park...
13U Kennesaw Generals will conduct tryouts on Field 6 (the uppermost field at Adams Park near the pavilion and field house).

The 13U Kennesaw Generals are proud to partner with professional instructors Ben Blumenthal and Stephen Flake from JCS Sports for the 2011-2012 season. Ben was a catcher is in the Cincinnati Reds and New York Yankees organizations while Stephen was a pitcher in the Florida Marlins organization. Full bios for Ben and Stephen can be found at www.jcssportstraining.com. The 13U Generals coaching staff brings playing experience at he high school and collegiate level as well as mutiple year travel baseball coaching experience. Our 13U program will focus heavily on team and individual player development as we prepare these players for high school baseball. The 13U Generals coaching staff, including our pro instructor partners, look forward to a successful 2011-2012 campaign.
