Now that the dust has settled, what say the online experts on who is moving to AAA and who will the powers that be nudge?

Force has indicated they won't wait on USSSA. Good for them.

Heat? Diamond Bears? Crush? Sound off...

Diamond Bears Baseball tried to enter the Battle of the South this year but were basically ignored as other teams were added (we have emails stating we would be contacted but never were). AS a Result we decided to enter the Ripken Memorial Day Tournament and represented Georgia well. We have played Major teams IN Florida, as well as from North and South Carolina and Virginia (we duck no one and have traveled from North to South Georgia over the last few years which can not be said about all teams in Georgia). We will play whatever we are classified (and above or below) but it seems if you are not from certain areas of Atlanta you are not given any respect.

I think the Mocs and Cardinals (and we've scrimmaged both) have shown over the past two years that teams from middle ga and south ga can compete with the so called big boys in their backyard. DOESN'T SEEM AS IF ANY OF YOU ARE WILLING (minus the Monarchs) TO COME TO MIDDLE GA TO PLAY ANY OF US IN OUR OWN BACKYARD? The Interstate runs both way!

The Milton Nationals are done for the season, but we'll come your way next spring to play, if you like!

T13....we were looking forward to facing you guys in a couple of tournaments this year but it just didn't work out. I think you guys are one of the Top teams in AA and I have always lived by the philosophy that to be the best, you gotta beat the best so we would be happy to scrimmage you guys. In fact, we would be happy to travel or to host. We are looking for a team to scrimmage that we think is better than us to get us prepared for Gulf Shores on July 20th and you fit that description perfectly. If you guys are around the week before that, we would love to scrimmage. Your place or ours. Feel free to send me an email tony (AT) fayetteforce (DOT) com.

We look forward to playing "anyone, anytime, anywhere"!

Coach Tony sent you an email letting you know we would love to help you prepare for the Global. We are heading down next week for the one with all the major teams so wish us luck (also looks like we are down to 9 players since one of our ss/2b has a pulled/torn muscle in his ribcage and wont be available - any slick fielding shortstops avaiable?). But we make no excuses and will do our best, hasn't played since he hurt it pitching in State South AA in cordele....

Anytime we can get Christheump (who is one of the best!!) we are happy to play.
