The rising 12u West Forsyth Diamond Dawgs will be having their tryouts on July 13th and 20th at 6:00 at West Forsyth Players Park. West Forsyth is an independent park and baseball association. We have a private state of the art field facility offering teams 4 practice slots per week. In the off season we practice at surrounding indoor facilites associated with West. We also have a new mentoring program with the local high school program so players can work with high school players for their position. The 11u team had a very successful season with 4 tournament wins and 2 runner up finishes (TN Super NIT and East Cobb Longhorns tournament). Ranked one of the top 15 teams in the state in AAA by USSSA. We have a guaranteed berth to Cooperstown and are putting together a competitive squad for this upcoming year. Coach Denny Pritchett will be returning this year. Coach Pritchett played in the St Louis organization and is a scout with Toronto at the current time. He has coached baseball and has been a professional instructor for over 20 years. We will play a limited schedule in the fall due to basketball and football.
