Description
Wanna Play Baseball 8u & 12u ages "Star Spangled" Tourney.
Price: $300 Plus $50 one time gate fee
Ages: 8u &12U All Stars/A/AA for 8U teams. AAA or less for 12 year old teams.
Teams can be organized teams or just pick up teams, but birth certificates will be needed to be on hand by coaches if questioned during tournament.
Registration will end 6-29-2011 and pool play brackets will be out 6-30-2011.
Coaches are required to provide 2 new game balls for each game. Coaches must provide and have on hand at tournament, proof of insurance for their team.
Games will be played at Boling Park fields in Canton. Umpires will be provided and concession stands will be open. Large individual trophies will be awarded to Champions and runner-ups. (There is a 6 team minimum 8 team maximum for tournament to take place).
All Dizzy dean rules will apply for 8U age groups and USSSA rules for 12U ages. Teams may play up to 3 games per day if necessary. Games will be 1:30.
Run rules apply of 7 runs per inning mercy rule for 8U ages only. Game will terminate after 3 innings if a team is up by 15, after 4 innings if up by 10 runs, after 5 innings if up by 8.
For 12U, game will terminate after 3 innings if a team is up by 15, after 4 innings if up by 10 runs, after 5 innings if up by 8. A player cannot play on 2 teams in same age brackets, but may play up in another age tournament.
NO PITCHING RULES for 12U, but please be smart on your pitchers arms for their safety.
