The rising 14u Jr Grizzlies team will hold tryouts at Dwight Terry Park on July 22-23 and July 30th.
We are looking for AAA level players only and candidates must have at least 2-3 years of competitive travel ball experience. Players must live in the Creekview school district. We have a solid core of returning players and are looking to take the team to a more competitive level. We will play 45 regular season games plus at least 5-6 tournaments. We will play in the North GA Feeder League and Lanier. We will start playing in August and play through the fall. We will start indoors in January and play through June to prepare the boys for high school baseball.
Parents of prospective 2011 - 2012 Jr Grizzlies players are encouraged to attend a parent meeting on Thursday, July 21st at 7pm in the Creekview High School Cafeteria. This meeting will provide information on the Jr Grizzlies Program and parents will have an opportunity to ask questions and meet with Jr Grizzlies Officials.
2012 Tryout Information
Tryouts will be held July 22nd, 23rd, 24th (Session 1) and July 30th (Session 2) at Dwight Terry Park. Players must attend either session 1 or session 2.
Session 1
Fundamentals – Friday July 22nd 14u 7:00 – 9:00pm
Controlled Scrimmage – Saturday July 23rd 14u 3:00 – 6:00pm
Prospective players must live in the Creekview School District and try out for the team of the age that they are entering in the 2011 - 2012 school year.
