These are the teams listed on the USSSA web site..http://www.usssa.com/sports/TournamentSeedingReport.asp?TournID=729849

Plus I think the East Cobb Pride have been invited...The East Cobb Braves were invited but turned it down...

I think LMC, Tampa Crush, Bomberz Baseball, and San Diego Show will finish in the top 4.

The ECB Astros have a chance to finish in the top 8. Go 'stros.

The rest of the GA teams should be proud to have qualified. What a stacked tournament!

The EC Pride might give some teams trouble if they look past them.

EC Pride can hit but I don't think they are deep enough in quality, shut-down starters to be able to compete throughout the entire Elite 32 tournament.

EC Astros have the pitching to do that, but I'm not sure they have the hitting top-to-bottom to do it.

Roadrunners are a big, well-coached team but I think they lack the depth of pitching as well.

ChiliDogs Jones are a good team, but I fear they peaked too early in the season...their magic seems to be waning towards the end of the season.

MBA Pride is a vastly different team from last year. I know they lost their top, shut-down pitcher...the lefty who went to Cooperstown with LMC at 10 years old. Also, they've played most of their season as an Elite team, playing on 60/90 fields, so it may make a difference in how they play when they play 54/80 at the Elite 32.

The Boca Black team is solid and can hit with anyone. They seem to get by on keeping hitters off-balance and playing solid defense, plus just crushing the baseball.

Leon Medical Center will always run out a good team, as will GBC Team Acceleration.

I'll go with San Diego Show and Chandler Rangers from AZ in the finals. Chandler Rangers take home the trophy.

Speaking of Crush, I think they'll make it to the quarter finals, but I don't think they'll go past that.

I disagree about the hitting. I think that the Astros have a pretty good shot at this.

But the 14U Maj state had 6 teams 1-14Maj,1-14AAA, the rest 13Maj...I am still picking them. I think the Astro's will be there at the top somewhere.

Lamorinda Monarchs,Az Hotshots and Dullins Dodgers would change the course of this tourny for sure,3 great teams not going to the Elite 32. My pick for the ship is Leons, Bomberz and VooDoo, they are probably the deepest in power and pitching.Good luck to all the teams going to florida.

If you are talking power and pitching then you are talking Astros. I can't wait to see how it all shakes out....
As for the Dullins Dodgers, they may get a taste of the Astros at the CABA event in Indy coming up.

I'm just glad that "the season" has finally gotten here.

I've heard rumor that the pool play schedule is out there somewhere. Have not been able to locate it myself. Anyone else hear this or know where one might find this information?

Truth is ...everyone on this site thinks and seems to know the outcome of a very large tournament with 32 strong teams and any team can beat any team on any given day. Don't count your chickens before they hatch.....lol

Thats what makes this country so great, We can say what is on our mind on what team may win this tournament. We may be right or wrong, But it's interesting to at least give our take on what may happen. This tournament is full of great teams, and the team that makes the least amount of mistakes will have their day in the sun.

O.K. boys and girls just about packed for the Elite 32. The sadest part of all this is this will be the last time i see these boys throw from 54 ft. and run 80 ft. bases. They will officially be playing baseball after this. They are becoming young men. Hope everyone has a safe trip down to Disney. Hopefully a Georgia team will bring it home. GO CHILIDOGS!

If you look at the list of Elite 32 teams on the USSSA website at the bottom they have all the teams previous match-ups. Each team has 3 opponents from the list. Perhaps a sneak peek at pool play match-ups? If so, for the Georgia teams it goes as follows:

Pride- Indiana Outlaws, Louisville Longhorns, Beyel Bros.

Astro's- Southern MD Braves, Banditos White, West Boca Panthers

Road Runner's- Oklahoma Cardinals, Leon Medical Center, San Diego Show

Home Plate- Tampa Crush, GBC Team Acceleration, Potros de San Juan

Everybody better show up ready to play!

I understand from a discussion today that USSSA has decided to have 8 pools of 4 in bracket play. Not the standard and what I saw with 10's and 12's. 4 brackets of 8.

Is there a standard rule for Elites? I am sure there is not and it is up to Matt and team without any discussion...

Lets play ball....
