My son plays 12u out of Orlando....I live in Vero...I love travel baseball...Baseballpapa and I have become friends...but we actually live part time in Cincy and my nephew plays for a major team in Ohio. I spent a good part of my childhood around Lake Lanier and Griffin Georgia. So I keep up with the Georgia teams too.My post question is this. I heard a lot of talk about the 13u Tennessee Tornadoes last year and I was wondering where they are this year. I saw a Tornado team played in Auburn a couple of weeks ago and didnt fair too well. Is that the same team? Do they have a 12u team and 13u team this year? OR have they changed the name of their program as they move to 14u?

The team is 14u. Almost the exact same team as last year on paper. Yes that was them in Auburn and their playing in PG in Atlanta this weekend. I would expect them to be solid.

0-3 did not fair well this weekend. Players sick, tough start of year. I don't think they are the same as last year. At the end of the day, they are short a few quality arms to get all the way to the ship this year, especially in a deep tournament.

After an incrediable dream season last year & a rocky start this year I'm sorry to say that the Tornados Baseball (formerly Tennessee Tornados) disbanded this afternoon.

Thanks to all the coaches & "Mick" who worked your tails off for this great bunch of boys. Alot of great players, good famalies & fond memories.

It is sad to see teams break up/disband, etc. I heard an old experienced coach once say "teams that are not successful do not stay together." I guess this was the case for the Tornadoes this year.

I wish all the players and their families good luck down the road.

Looks like Tornados "break up" short lived. I see them listed in the Battle of the South. Same team?

Have not broke up. Still going. Played in Battle in the South, went 2-2 in pool play. Made it to final 4 before rain came in. Beat some good teams.
