Titans beat Extreme 15-2. They can be dangerous. In addition to Braves, have also beaten Roadrunners and Pride... Nearly beat HP.

The Extreme made it to the championship with a 12-11 win over the Pride. The Titans brought their hitting shoes to the championship and rolled the Extreme 15-2. Congrats to the Titans, a very well coached team.

Extreme was out of pitching and the whole team looked exhausted by the time the championship game got there. No excuses, the Titans handed it to them but the Extreme didn't look like the same team that played the whole tournament.

In fairness, the Extreme had a much tougher week of baseball than the Titans did, too. They played the Braves, 45s, Pride, and Astros. The Astros played mainly 12 year olds against everyone but them and played about 7 of their players against the Extreme.

Likewise, the Braves weren't throwing their top pitchers against the Titans. The 2 who pitched against the Titans were good but aren't in their top 4 of the pitching staff.

Meanwhile, the Pride threw their #1 against the Extreme and they scored about 8 runs off him before the Pride changed pitchers.

All in all, it was a fun week of baseball to watch. I'd still like to see them change the timing of this tournament though. Putting it mid-week like that makes it tough to see true "top vs top" match-ups because a lot of teams either have tournaments the weekend before and/or after that one. Maybe next year, ECB should run this one as a weekend tournament.
