Sharkball has the list correct. The other teams just dropped out this week. If there are any teams major level teams looking to play they are looking for a few more. The schedule doesn't come out until Wed at 5 so you can still get in.

Actually, unless someone got in last minute there are 5 teams.

CBA Cyclones
Georgia Roadrunners
Knoxville Stars
Fury
Cincinnati Sluggers

I honestly have never seen this many teams drop out last minute like this. They must not have ever hosted tournaments before. If they did they would never do what they have done to the tournament director for this event.

I'll go with CBA Cyclones and Georgia Roadrunners in the finals of this one. Further, I'll pick Cincinnatti team to finish pool play as the bottom seed.

Notice I didn't pick how many games they'll win in pool play since I seem to struggle with the # of pool play games to be played.

I watched them play against the EC Pride about a month ago in a tournament at East Cobb. They're a pretty good team. Same thing I would say about the Fury. Both teams are good hitting teams but I didn't see any overpowering pitching on either team. Fury can be beaten with hard-throwing pitching; whereas, Knoxville seemed to struggle more with the junk throwers in the 2 games I saw them play.

The 5 teams that are left are evenly matched. It should turn out to be competitive for all 5 teams. Hard to pick a favorite.
