I see that Alabama is having their Super NIT this weekend and looks like Georgia is representing in both Major and AAA...let's support our Georgia teams!!!

Congrats to the Georgia teams that represented in the Alabama Super NIT in Major and AAA! It looks like most of the teams in both performed very well and GA Yard Dogs coming in 2nd place in Major and GA Hurricanes Champions in AAA! Also from the look of the scores Mill Creek, Covington Sting, West GA Lighting and Crossroads Baseball all made Georgia proud great job boys!!!

It was great baseball but I have to say there was some bad umps calling these games and I know there not prefect but to miss as many calls as they did.

Lots of baseball over the weekend. I think the semi final was WG vs Canes. Georgia Hurricanes played Huntsville for the championship.

In the AA tourney in Alabaster, GPA Hooks lost in championship game 6 to 5. We will probably be seeing some of you guys in AAA soon!

Congrats GPA Hooks on a well done showing..I did not realize they had a AA bracket...who did you compete against in the Ship?

No, it was not the semi final. It was the quarter final. I believe that the four teams that made the semis were easily the four best teams there.

The GPA Hooks lost in the championship 6-5 which was a close game to the Spring Hill Shock. Great job I have seen them play a great group of young men !

We played the Spring Hill Shock out of Nashville, TN. We were the only GA team in the tourney.

I'm pretty sure the Hurricanes were saving their pitching in this game for the semi final and championship. The REAL championship game was very exciting.

Good question. I do not think the Hurricanes played up to their standard of great defense, however they still took home the trophy. Crossroads and the Hurricanes demonstrated that Georgia is a force in the south!

If a close game is the same thing as a championship game, then our team has played for at least 20 championships this year.
