No talk on here about the "Duel on the Diamond" this past weekend in Ringgold. It was great to see such a strong showing of teams in a community that needs as much commerce as possible after the devastating storms. The duel between the Hobgood Thrashers and the East Cobb Yankees was great baseball with awesome defense by both teams. The Thrashers won that one 2-1 and ended up winning it all with a 15-2 victory over the Choo-Choo City Mustangs. After a long stormy week, it was a beautiful weekend for baseball!
