I will take GBC in this one. And look for the Hurricanes-Black to be good as well.

no spiders or sandgnats either???......well then i gotta think this is the 45s tournament to lose, this one is in their own backyard so they have to be the clear favorite once again because i think they have handled the braves this year

Think MGBA Braves could be a factor, if they get to hitting your catchers arm will be tired by the end of the game.

GBC has to be the favorite here by far.

For those of you clamoring to see Astros vs Chilidogs - Jones, you may get your chance next weekend. Both teams are listed in the tournament down in south Atlanta.

GBC Acceleration, Braves, 45's

I would think these three teams will be around in the semi-finals, then who knows after that.

Coachpitch--GBC Acceleration, Braves, 45's ??????(Pride-Kennesaw)

I 2nd that Prediction.

Pitching is the answer as we all know. And these teams should not have to go to deep in on pool play.

And what a great weekend for BB!!!

Wow, open has gold, silver and bronze bracket!!! 2 of the favorites are sent home early...45's and Proehlific Power!!! GBC should have an easy road to the ship and the Braves will have to battle it out with Hurricanes black to get there.

What a nail-bitter with Kennesaw Baseball and MGBA . Bottom up of the 6th bases-loaded 1 out and a boy comes up and hit a grand-slam . But top of the 7th bases-loaded 2outs and walk-off single !
Kennesaw Wins !

Just as expected GBC, Braves, Hurricanes, Kennesaw baseball all go deep into this tourney. I think most folks picked at least 3 of these teams to make a good showing. On my honorable mention list a little shout out to Gwinnett titans, and 45's for making it to the Gold Bracket. Good job guys. Good Weekend for baseball

Wow. Tough weekend for ECB. Except for the Pride winning the Silver Bracket of the North Atlanta Open (Good Job!) no one else makes it to a Championship game. Astro's, 45's, Titan's, Brave's, Longhorns all down early. Get 'em next weekend guys!

Nope, just thought they would represent well.

Nice showing for the guys from Kennesaw. They have put together a good squad and continue to improve. Also the MGBA guys continue to impress as well. They are well coached and play HARD!

45's did it right on this one. Went ahead and got eliminated on Saturday night that way they had the whole day Sunday to spend with their moms! Happy Mother's Day.

SFCB give all the Hurricanes they could handle. 9-7 Actually had them beat very late in the game. Renegades hit two bombs, Hurricanes went through 4 pitchers but some miscues late in game made the Difference. They also played the Braves tough which put them a 18 seed. Great showing and hard fought games.

Somebody obviously has an axe to grind here. Since kids are reading this forum, I spare them from what my response would be otherwise.

GTitans played their first major tourney of the year. Been quite a few posts here that opined about how they were the 3rd 4th 5th best AAA team in the state. So they end up in the quarters, and lose to the champions, who run ruled ECB Braves when they were done with the GTitans and went on to beat what is arguably one of the top 20 teams in the nation in the final. In the process, they beat ECB Titans and they beat a Team Wilson team that knocked out an established major (Sharon Springs Baseball) to get to the quarters. For this you feel compelled to discuss that they somehow embarassed themselves. Far as I can tell, only team they lost to was the team that won the event, no shame in that.

As I said, clear that you have it out for them. So many other teams who UNDERPERFORMED this tournament that you and I could discuss, but I've got more class than you do...
