I have to give a shout out to the 11u Paulding County Bones! Had the opportunity to see the bones in action in a 12yr old double elimination tourney this weekend in Rome. These scrappy hitting guys defeated a good Calhoun team 2x and then gave the Venom a great run all the way to the Championship. I have been around baseball for some time and the way these young man carried themselves on the field the maturity and professional way they handled certain situations was very impressive. They hit very well,pitch well,steal with ease, and can play defense with anyone? I am impressed with the coaches as well "a entertaining looking group" but when they tell me its about morals and getting them ready for the next level not the immediate future and winning thats the secrete recipe to winning at all levels! If my son was 11 this is where i would want him to be! I wish you all the success you can ask for keep playing hard! Parents be proud of your Bones!
Hey thanks billy the kid. That was a fun and exciting weekend and we are very proud of our boys with the way they played after playing up against bigger,stronger,faster kids. Also hats off to you guys (venom) and congrats you guys are top class and we hope to see more of u guys when we play in 12u toureys and we wish you the best. Thanks coach brad
We have competed against this team and coaches for several years and every year they seem to improve as the season progresses more than any other team we face. They always get overlooked early on and then end up at the top of their class by year end. I look for them to make some noise in AAA for the rest of the season.
Thanks dcc as it is always very tough games when we play you guys and i think the same goes for your team as well.
