Talk about a nail biter for the Championship!!!

EC Braves vs. EC Astros… The Braves lead the game throughout and the Astros hung in and tied the Braves in the 7th inning going into extra innings with a score 3-3…In the 9th inning, two outs and bases loaded for the Braves…Count 3-1 on the Batter...Braves win 4-3.

Talk about a Pitchers Duel!!!

The Astros are an incredible team and you can not take anything away from them for this loss, but the Braves going Back to Back in the last two Tournaments with Championship wins is a huge success.

Great game on both sides!!!

So that makes for consecutive championship weekends for the EC Braves! On top of that, the teams in the championship games with the Braves were the Chilidogs and Astros. Two great teams!! Looks like the Braves are on the move...

Congratulations to the Braves. Great back to back win.

Not taking anything away from the win but for whatever reason the Astros batted 17 versus the usual 9. That makes it tough to turn the lineup over. They intentionally walked the bases loaded in the last inning then walked in the Braves winning run. For a Championship game there were some interesting strategies to say the least.

Seems there is always someone to makes excuses or make it look like the champions don't deserve the win this season. WAY TO GO BRAVES!!!

Too bad someone not happy. It was a tremendous game of baseball. A true pitcher's duel and not a single pitcher in that game should feel like they lost--it was just that good! Credit where credit is due is the respectable position to take in a game of this calibur. Uncle FESTUS say sometimes price is to be paid for arrogance!! By the way, tournament site was not, and still is not, updated to reflect what happened????

I agree with you 100% Knucklecurve. Congrats to the Braves for a hard fought victory! We've got a lot of great teams here in Georgia, and no one in invincible. The Astros will get another crack at the Braves this weekend at their invitational. A whole lot of great baseball left to be played.

My understanding is that the Braves got a hit to left field that drove in the winning run. Either way the Braves won it, and it is all part of the game. Why detract...?

That's what I've been saying since the fall. They won it fair and square. Just congratulate them and move on. No need in trying to qualify it. Congrats to the Braves.

Congrats Braves! A win is a win. Both sides should have been pleased with the outcome of the tournament. The Braves beat the Astros and ALL of the Astros players got to play in the championship game.
