The rising 9U Georgia Octane - Forsyth Grizzlies are looking to add one more player to our roster. We have partnered with Travis Bailey, owner of The Georgia Octane Baseball Organization. Travis, the head coach, has over 20 years of experience in travel baseball and has coached many young players that have gone on to play Division I collegiate baseball. Travis was drafted and played in the St. Louis Cardinal's organization and played a total of five years of professional baseball. Travis does not have a child on this team. The assistant coaches have collegiate and minor league playing experience, as well as experience coaching young athletes.
Our #1 goal is to develop young men. We are looking for great families and talented athletes to be a part of a special opportunity where development comes first. We are looking for players who love the game, are coachable, are great teammates, and play with great effort. We will start by playing AAA baseball with the goal of developing into a Majors level team.
We will practice in the fall, playing up to 3 one-day tournaments, and intend to play 10-12 tournaments for our spring season. We are an organization that 100% supports players playing multiple sports.
