This should be a strong tournament. Are there any other teams looking to jump into the mix? Here are the teams listed on the website:
1. WF Diamond Dawgs
2. SP Cobras
3. Ga Raiders
4. Oregon Park Sharks
5. Elite Gamers
6. North Georgia Renegades
7. North Gwinnett Bulldogs
8. Lake Lanier Copperheads
9. EC Braves

I know I'm old-fashioned, but I thought the whole point of calling something an "invitational" was to make sure everyone knew that you had to be invited in order to participate. Who is putting on this tournament? What is the website? And yes, it looks like a crazy-strong tournament.

I'll take the Copperheads and Ga. Raiders in the ship. With Copperheads winning!

Skipper was money with his Super NIT AA picks. I might get him to pick me up some lottery tickets.

How can one bet against the GA Raiders? The only team to win Sub State, State and 8u World Series Champs. And now the 9u Super NIT. It seems like this team only plays on championship Sundays. When it really matters.

My bet is on those Raiders.

Goooooo Raiders

Hard to go against the Raiders at this point. Very tough field. I literally think there are 6 teams who could easily win this thing. I can't even hazard a guess at this point who will get to the 'ship game.

All I know is that this age group is totally up for grabs. This team beating that team and then losing to this team. There is some GREAT baseball going on in the 9 year old age group. I'm glad to be a part of it and more importantly I'm glad my son is experiencing it as it only makes him and his teammates better!!!

The Sharks look forward to another weekend against some great teams!!!

The GA Team Raiders, having won the 8u KP WS last year are rated. And, after getting through a tough, tough SNIT event schedule to win it all, should move up in the rankings.

Good job Raiders...look forward so meeting them head to head "GEORGIA style" at Disney.....We'll be ready !!!!

Unfortunately, down to 7 teams. Those of you that picked the Raiders to win it, will be wrong - they have pulled out. So have the Elite Gamers. Still a tough field. I bet they will let another team or two in if you think you can compete!

It's a shame that the Ga Raiders and Elite Gamers backed out of the tournament. I would of like to have seen how they competed with the teams in this tournament. It will be interesting to see if some other top teams come into the mix in their place like the Longhorns, Yard Dawgs, or Buzz. I know that there will be some other lighter tournaments around, but it will be hard to beat the competetion like this one. Let's see who steps up to the challenge.

The Buzz will be staying close to the hive this weekend resting their wings after dominating a TN tourney last weekend. They will be playing in a strong 10U local tourney. Good luck to all this weekend, stay dry!
