Couple of FAQ's received with general answers/philosophies:
• In the Fall based on variables such s football, etc rosters are divided up for a couple of events as Navy and Red. Rosters for TGBA Prime & Elite are determined prior to the spring season upon continuous evaluation/development.
• Often times we use the fall to teach players new positions as well when outcomes of games are not as important. We run multiple skills clinics/developmental practices during the week / weekends.
• The long-term philosophy organizationally has and will continue to be protection of arms/young bodies with very strict pitch counts regardless of win or lose in fall... playing constantly in the fall after seasons deep in to the summer provides very little time for young bodies to recover and learn new skills. Playing 60-80 games and overthrowing arms is rampant across the youth ages (and subsequent injuries and/or dead arms by the time they get to high school). Not our place to judge other philosophies, but we do want to set expectations and make it clear up front as some might prefer a different philosophy.
