It's not looking good for the slugfest. Mother Nature has her own plans. What will the tournament director do? How much water can the fields take? I've put on tournaments before, this is a nightmare for a TD.

Looks like tonights games might be spared. Saturday will be miserable in the rain and Sunday a muddy mess. Don't you just love baseball.

Our intention is to play as much baseball as we can. Forsyth County has their staff lined up to work on the fields in the event of rain. We'll play ball as long as field and weather conditions allow it. Any delays will be determined by how much rain we get, when we get it, the condition of the fields and how long it will take to get the fields ready.

The weather guys were predicting drizzle for most of the day today and the most we have seen is a brief light mist. I sure hope they're wrong about the weekend.

Thunder-You guys are doing a great job on the Weather Updates, I love the Pocket weather Update Icon. It looks like we may have a shot at getting this thing in. My fingers are crossed.
