Covington Sting and Fayette Force in ship. I love your team Tony but Covington will be tough to beat.

I know, Bo...the Sting are tough as nails. We played them in the Fall and I think they were missing some of their key players to football or other stuff and we struggled with them then, too. I can only imagine how good they will be with the whole team in tact.

As for the Force, I guess if we could play the brackets on Saturday that we would be fine but we seem to have trouble winning on Sundays. Hopefully we will get over that. It boggles the mind how we could dominate so much on Saturday and then give away a 5 run lead in the last inning of the first bracket game like we did in Macon. I sometimes think some aliens must have came and abducted our boys in their sleep and replaced them with exact duplicates but took away their intensity gene ;)

I saw the Nitro at Hidden Valley the other week and they looked good then...I think they are a top contender along with a few others, as well.

A couple of the kids from the Covington Sting could play for many major teams around the state. They have some extremely good pitching, I haven't seen those kids in awhile but they were pretty tough last time we saw them.

Covington sting top aa team they can put some runs on the board. Don't no if they can stop other teams from scoring. Little different team than fall. They should do well in this one though prob did them some good last weekend seeing some better teams.

This tournament canceled all games Saturday and will now be a single elimination on Sunday.
Haven't seen the schedule yet, so not sure of the matchups.

SHoward....yes, pool games have already been canceled. To my understanding, teams will be seeded into brackets by their USSSA Points and then Sunday will go on as scheduled....of course, barring the weather canceling Sundays games as well. I thought the TD handled it very well....he is allowing any team that wants to bail to get a 100% refund. The teams that want to continue will get a 50% refund and the NIT points are still doubled (which costs him the same amount of money if I understand the system right). It looks like there still may be a few teams that want to play this weekend if the weather will cooperate on Sunday!

Strange move considering there is a good chance for heavy rain on Saturday.
