The 2nd annual Javy Lopez Woodbat Classic will be held April 29-May 2 at George Pierce Park in Suwanee. Hosted by North Gwinett baseball Softball Association, this is an open woodbat tourney. Each Team will receive two Limited Edition Bones Bats to use during the Tourney. Former Atlanta Brave Javy Lopex will be at the tournament and give a hitting clinic. A few other former players may be on hand as well.
Last year's inaugural event was a sellout and tremendous success. Coaches whose teams participated last year told us their playersd had a blast and it was one of the best events they played in all year.
Open classifications for 9u, 10u, and 13u. Due to overhwhelming demand and lack of field space, the 11u bracket was made invitational and the top 8 10u teams from last have been invited. We are trying to find additional field space for 11u and 14u and hope to open these bracket to more teams soon.
