As we start to pencil in tournaments over the next few months, which of the ones posted on the tournament lists (NWBA, eTeamz, USSSA, etc) so far do you think would cater to "true" A/AA level teams?

Which ones do other A/AA level teams have their eyes on so far?

Which ones could enough of the A/AA level teams here influence to this level of play versus being a "AA/AAA" or "open" type tournament?

Does getting involved with USSSA as a new team make sense? They appear to make you start at AA level along with other established teams.

There's going to be significant number of tournaments each weekend to pick from, trying to find the "right" fit near term to get the team off on the right start and get locked in.

It looks like we'll be able to form some good A/AA divisions within NWBA league this year! Are we ready to start discussing this now in advance of the Jan. 22 meeting?

Tks!

Hey Doug,
We are also looking for some AA tournaments.
Here are some AA tournaments that we are considering...
USSSA AA Classic in Stockbridge in March (http://leaguelineup.com/miscinfo.asp?menuid=35&cmenuid=35&url=elitesportingevents&sid=395537172)
USSSA NIT in March (http://www.usssa.com/sports/Tournament3.asp?TournamentID=707621)
Mt Paran is hosting a tournament in early April and we will be promoting it to AA teams.

Let me know if you find any other good ones.

Tony

I've got my eye on those also. There's another organization called CAM (http://baseball.camsports-usa.com/tournament_list.php) that has some AA ones but quite a drive to get to and I don't know anything about this organization or tournament quality.

Others of interest:

* Hillgrove Hawks Invitational
* Jr Grizzly Roundup
* Hickory Flat Bash
* Double Points Bash NIT
* Clash of the Champions NIT
* West Cobb Wood Bat Bash

Let's make the Sprayberry Winter Warm Up (Feb 17-20 at Shaw Park) the first AA tournament for 10U.

Signed Up:

Sprayberry Jr Jackets Doug McClure
West Cobb White Sox Michael Kalinowski
FCA Mt Paran Patriots Tony Antoniades

Let's get some of these teams signed up!

Sequoyah Junior Chiefs Von Brown
Sandy Plains Prowlers Darren Sperry
GPA Hooks Blue Jeff Baynard
OP Raptors Jeff Lundberg
Hammers John Forte
Villa Rica Wildcats Steve Copeland
Ocee Stars Casey Hill
Roswell Hornets Lee Roberts
Blue Jays Darren Jones
Ga Raiders Michael Boens

Contact me if you're interested Coaches!
