Reclassifications out!! Appears to have gone straight by power rating which eliminates human bias. Personally I was surprised at the # of major teams. There is a fine line ( if any) between a lower tier Major and upper tier AAA team. The bottom half of the Major category is going to have to work extremely hard to compete.
Does appear most Major teams are from N.Atlanta, guess we will be having to make the drive to get in tournys that make.
Looks Like a great field of teams. Any real errors in the list or is it pretty close? If there are errors hopefully Bubba will correct quickly as the season progresses.
How does this work? I see teams on the report listed as Major but are signed up as and are listed as AAA teams on the website? Are these teams moved at some point to match the report or is it just a guide?
My understanding is that USSSA will place these teams according to the list. After a certain number of games in this class(6 I think) the team can appeal to be moved up or down. Teams may always play in tournaments in a higher classification, but may not play down. Supposed to help stop trophy hunting by playing lower level than qualified to play.
