The top 3 teams in the state will be at Lake Point this weekend. Does anyone have any predictions? |

Yea…should be a fun season for all 3 teams. I believe it will always come down to who’s pitching for these three teams when they meet-up. |

Looked to me that the Dingers had more pitching than anyone else this weekend which is why they got the match-up they wanted in the finals. Would seem like that would be the case most weekends |

I don't think it was pitching...all 3 teams have about 2-3 above average pitchers. The Dingers hit the ball better this weekend. |

Nothing against Rip City or Kennesaay, but Dingers won't face any competition until the WS in July. When you have the best kids from Bama and GA, it is hard for a team that doesn't recruit to beat Dingers. |

Don’t necessarily have all of the “best” kids from GA, that’s careless, not sure why that is an assumption. |

Kennesaw isn’t worried about who the best team in Georgia is...Way too early for that. As always we are focusing on getting our team better. Come June we will be ready to play the best of the best. We have always had a very respectable program, which is why we don’t have much turnover from year to year. But back to last weekend, we didn’t hit the ball well enough to win the tourney. We can pitch with anyone in the southeast. We have one of the fastest teams around, but our opposition did a great job of keeping us off the bases. We have some work to do...but don’t count Kennesaw out just yet. |

It looks like we will have a much better understanding of where teams are coming out of the Covid-19 break after this weekend.
PG has 9 of the top 115 teams in the nation playing this weekend.
#5 Park Sharon Nationals - South Carolina #10 Dingers Athletics #16 Kennesaw Generals #26 Southern Madison Sluggers - Kentucky #50 Remix Rip City #66 643 DP Cougars #71 East Cobb Astros Orange #92 STB Davis #104 Georgia Bombers Schreiber |

Somehow out of 23 teams in this tournament, Park Sharon, Kennesaw, Southern Sluggers, and ReMix all ended up in the same pool. #129300; |

PG should have created a Major & Minor Tournament or kept the original format (3 games guaranteed). Pool B = All Major Teams and all other Pools are AA thru Major. This set-up will probably be tough for Remix and Kennesaw, but they will figure it out. |

Looks like the cream has quickly come to the top after the first two days. Anyone had the chance to watch the games want to make predictions for Sunday yet? |

Dingers take the championship, but didn't prove anything. Dingers had the weakest schedule of any of the top teams. They then almost blew the championship game to a worn out EC Orange team who had just knocked off what was probably the best team in the tournament in the semi-finals after a 9 inning thriller.
This could have been a great tournament but it was a complete mess from the beginning. PG allowed pool play matchups that made no sense. Constant bickering between coaches and fans, protest over shaved bats, and even near fights that required the police to be called. What could have been great proved to be everything that is wrong with youth baseball. |

Dingers finally got beat. One loss isn't too bad, but they really hadn't played anyone coming into this tournament other than the Generals. It's a shame the two best teams didn't meet up in the finals to really watch some good baseball. |

After a 0-1-1 start at the Elite WS Dingers still makes it to he Elite bracket. Their toughest game might be their first when they play the SBA Futures tomorrow. Dingers was 1-2 going into the tournament. Yes one loss was to a 12U team. Maybe they need to start recruiting Nationally know. Dingers used their stud pitcher on Wednesday to help them advance.
It would have been great if the other top teams in GA were playing in the Elite WS this week. Remix, Kennesaw and Line Drive needed to go and show the country all of the talent we have in GA!
