I am trying to put together a new 12U travel team in the Columbus area. We have a few guys committed already and are looking to fill our roster. Let me explain what we want to do. Our plan is to put together a team as soon as possible with hopes of playing one or two tournaments this November.

Next year, the guys we have so far will be playing one last year of Little League. Our plans for the Spring will be to practice once per week during the Little League season with the intention of trying to play in a couple of Sunday Shootouts during the Little League season.

Once Little League ends we want to play two tournaments per month from June-November. Beyond that we would like to keep the team together year round throughout middle school at least.

Our Head Coach has experience coaching at the high school level and played in college as a pitcher. He knows the fundamentals in all aspects of the game - hitting, pitching, defense, baserunning etc.

The team will also be the best priced travel team anywhere around. The coach is not looking to charge for practices, instructions, or overcharge for tournaments. We will have access to an indoor cage for a reasonable one time team rate. We will purchase a jersey top and charge the actual price. The only other expenses will be to split tournament fees out per player. Tournaments range from $200-$500 per, so you are looking at $20-$50 per player per tournament.

We are looking for the right kind of player and parent. We do not want any politcal bs or nonsense that is associated with a lot of teams out there. We want to teach the game, have some fun, and build help develop good young ball players and kids at the same time.
