We have had preliminary try-outs over the last few weeks, and will begin practicing @ SAR with a group of boys that have been selected 1x week beginning Tuesday, 9/7 through October 26; 5:30 - 7 PM.
These practices will cost each player $15 per practice / workout ($120 Over 8 Weeks), as official registration fees do not begin until November.
During these practices / workouts, Coach Julius Thames will be trying out new players as well, as he still has a few roster spots to fill. Please plan on attending practice next Tuesday at 5:30 @ Sports A Rama.
Beginning in November, the team will begin their "winter" workouts, practicing up to 4 days per week indoors @ SAR and outdoors at Wheeler High. The team will practice and play in tournaments through June 30, 2011.
Your 2010 - 2011 fee will include professional coaches salaries, weekly practice facilities (SAR and WHS), uniforms (head to toe * no cleats or batting gloves *), helmet for each player, team equipment (tees, balls, etc.), tournament fees, insurance, and team banner (sponsor recognition). Your child will also receive all of the facility "perks"; such as Unlimited Tokens for 1 Year, AllStar ACE 5000 Membership (Video Pitching Simulator); and discounts on cages, lessons, performance training, and classes, camps, and clinics.
