Who ya got? Pool A: Sanders or Ballers Pool B: Dirtbags Pool C: Astros Pool D: Sharks Pool E: Excel Pool F: Home Plate and Sig Park 2-0 Pool G: Flames and Meridian 2-0
Winner depends on ease of bracket but Astros (O), Dirtbags and Sharks are the class. |

Astros if the don't burn their ace early. If they do, then they're several teams that could win it. |

This is one of my favorite tourneys of the year (south side traffic excluded). Good luck to everyone this weekend...especially the former Colt 45s that are playing! |

Did I see it right that 2 of their pick-ups were from another team in the same tournament? |

Gotta be honest, the PG —> TC takeover has been worthwhile. We haven’t played anywhere else yet and it is a noticeable step up from last year. Yes, it is expensive and the Diamondkast is a moneygrab. But it would seem to be better than what y’all have faced. No batting cages sounds like the one Southern Sports tourney we played in the fall. Kind of what you expect for the money.
As to the Astros bringing in the horses, how did that work out? |

No dog in the fight but I followed on GC and the teams didn't interchange players. As for adding, I asked and those kids from the 22s are now Astros for good. They left Sutko team.
Congrats to SGSA and Dirtbags on reaching finals.
Another strong showing by Excel. I hope their arms hold up.

You know what you're getting when you play the Super NIT. The fields and the set up has been the same for the past several years. The draw to it was all the Major's team that showed up. It's always a real fun tournament regardless of scoreboards and facilities.
I don't pretend to know the set up that the Astros have. I just know that we have played the Navy once and the Orange twice. I know about 75% of the kids on both teams. The roster for this weekend was different than the one from two weekends ago. The guy that started on the hill for them against us was a pick up for the weekend if I'm not mistaken. I don't fault them for any of that, the directors allow them to, so they do it. At the end of the day you have to line up and play whoever the other team throws out there. |

I wasn’t thinking they played for multiple teams in that tourney, more didn’t understand how you hop to another team for one weekend when your own team is in the same event. Now that makes more sense if it was a permanent move.
Congrats to SGSA showing again this year to be the team to beat in GA.

I guess when you get 1 AB the entire tourney, it doesn't matter as long as the team Wins. |

Some of the other top teams carry more players. It is easier to spread innings around. |

Do you really need 18 players at 12U? Sounds like a money grab to me. |
