Yup, looks like the Yarddogs are to big and too fast for this crowd. My buddy at the tournament said they are hitting from top to bottom of their lineup.

Looks like the opposition's only hope is in the single elimination final four; there one flat game and you could be toast.

Good luck Yarddogs.

Final 4 is set. Yardogs vs. Bullets/Titans and the Oakley Stingrays vs. Team Miami. Semi's are at 8:30 tomorrow morning with the Championship to follow. Pretty impressive run by the Yarddogs - take it home boys!

Greetings from Orlando, Florida. First off I would like to say congratulations to the Tampa Titans. Those guys played a near perfect game against the Yard dogs. They came up short against #1 ranked Oakley Stingrays. Big congrats to the Oakley Stingrays. Those young men displayed great poise and leadership. I can see why their record was 105-4. Great Team Great Talent.. And now the Georgia Yard Dogs., I can not say enough how proud i am of the them. They really represented the state of Georgia very well. I don't think anyone would argue about them having the toughest pool and bracket in the tournament. Here is a run down of the teams they faced. They started off by playing and beating the #1 team in the state of Oklahoma(31-5), after which beating the #1 team in Louisiana, followed by the #2 team in Mississippi all in pool play. Bracket play had them playing and beating hands down the #1 team in Texas, the Avengers(34-7), beating them twice. The #1 team in North Carolina (Cubs)(46-12) also fell short to the Yard dogs. Lastly the #1 seeded Orlando tigers lost 18-5 to yard dogs. The yard dogs went a perfect 7-0 losing in the semi-finals 2-0 to # 2 seeded Tampa Titans finishing 3rd place out of 32 top teams in the country. I tell you if no one knew about the yard dogs before, they do now. When you see kids and parents crying after a lose, parents who kids don't even play for us thats when you know you have something special. We literally won the crowd over. Oakley Stingrays as well had to over come big obstacles, having to fly to the east coast with the 3 hour difference time frame. They have some great parents, coaches, and kids. I can see the yard dogs meeting them in 2011 for a long awaited matchup. Again great job Yard Dogs on a tremendous season and Tournament. Oh yeah, The Yard dogs was the only team to make it to the final four that does not play baseball year round. On to FOOTBALL
