The new Pope Jr. Greyhounds Baseball program will begin its first season of play in Spring 2011. We will be playing in AAA tournaments as well as local league games – light schedule for fall, heavy for spring. Makeup Tryouts and Callbacks are Sunday, August 15 at Pope Field.
To be eligible for the 14U team, players must be 14yrs old or under as of 4/30/2011 (a few select 13 yr olds may be eligible for the team). Public, private, and home school students who reside in the Pope district are eligible. We are not accepting additional out-of-district registrants at this time. Advanced registration is required – no walk-ups accepted for tryouts.
The 14U team will be led by Head Coach Alan NeSmith and 2 non-parent coaches. More information and online registration available at www.PopeJrGreyhounds.com (interested applicants should read the Handouts page).
