Any thoughts on 11u group? A lot of major shakeups in teams this season. I'll take a stab, can't really go top 10 because so much changed so I'll go top 5

1. Astros Orange (best 10u team in Spring)
2. OP Sox (did very well in 10u)
3. Showcase Howze
4. Astros Navy
5. Hard to tell, maybe one of the newly formed teams. Or a South GA team

Mizuno ATL which I'm pretty sure is Old ECB Yanks did pretty good in their last tourney. East Cobb also has a new Astros White team that is 4-0. They probably will be good this year. Idk about showcase howze, I think they've lost some of their old players maybe.

What's up with the "Bandits", are they still E.C. affiliated?

I’ll take a stab at it...
1. Op (finished on top last year)
2. Astros Orange (still strong)
3. Astros Navy (still strong)
4. Mizuno Atlanta (new team and very solid)
5. 5 Star (I don’t know much about them)
6. Showcase (Different players, still good)
7. Archer Premier Baseball (new additions very solid team)
8. Comanche (hear great things, can’t wait to play)
9. Astros white(I think they are the old Yankees)
10. Bandits ( from last tournament seems that they lost a step)

Pretty good list, it will be interesting to see how the new teams with experienced players impact this group.

The ones I know of are GA Jackets and Mizuno ATL who picked up ECB players and then the new ECB Astros White.

Yes the Bandits aren't affiliated with ECB from what I can tell.

1. OP SOX (Based off the end of Summer)
2. Astros Orange (Based off the end of Summer)
3. Astros Navy (Based off the end of Summer)
4. North Georgia BlueClaws (STACKED 1-10 at the plate and Pitching for days!!)
5. Showcase (FAST, Great Pitching, Makes you get them out)
6. Archer Premier Baseball ( Fantasic team, has come back from summer STRONG, will run and beat the best of them)
7. Mizuno Atlanta (picked up a bunch of EC players and are very SOLID on both sides of the ball)
8. Nationals (this is a fully sponsored team that is a pick up team that stacks the best players from around the state every weekend to play)
9. West Cobb Red Sox (Solid, Fast, Bats, just needs to tighten up on D)
10. Bandits (Solid team still, but lost quit a few players to the above teams and it shows. Not the same Bandits from the past 3 years for sure, but still hang with everybody"

I'm sure this list will change by the end of the Fall, but these 10 teams can play with anybody on anyday and its a toss up whos going to pull out the win. The talent at this age group is truly remarkable and a blast to watch.

IGOTIT, I don't know about the Nationals, I don't know if we are talking about the same team, but the West GA Nationals lost to some low AAA teams. I don't know if you can put them at 8, or we may just be talking about different teams.

yeah, I don't know about some of those in the list. I know at least a couple of those teams avoid the major level sanctions that all the big dawgs play in and then tout their undefeated weekend record in Timbuktu. Not saying they're not a good team but no head to head against the known good teams. Calling you out fellas. Shouldn't be considered if you don't at least try to back it up.

Great baseball this weekend in South Carolina at the USSSA Super NIT

Astros Orange got upset today while Showcase went 2-0. Maybe Orange and Showcase can play each other in this tournament

Top 10

1. OP
2. Showcase and Astros Orange
3. Astros Navy
4. Everyone else

I hope this year all the teams listed above in folks top 10 will play each other. It seems like some of these top 10 teams listed above are hard to find in the bigger events.

Silly season but if real baseball season poll:

1) Astros Navy- loaded defense, loaded bats just need to work pitchers. Good coaches
2) OP- Could be very good and take #1, loaded with athletes and great pitching. New coach will help with team growth
3) Astros Orange- just like last season with a slow start but sound defense and hot bats will keep them in the top
4) Showcase- added new athletes, good coaching, playing a lot ball right now
5) Mizuno Atl- Yankees from last season, good coach will play fundamental ball
6) GA Bandits- up and down so far, won a 12u tourney this weekend, lost athletes but picked up top Eastside kids, will do what they do and play fundamental baseball to win games
7) Astros White- former 45's coach added pick ups in coaching, defense, hitting. Could move up the list if pitching is there
8) Team Elite Williams- good coaching, good bats, need pitching. Another team that could move up the list fast
9) Outlaws - very good North Ga all around team, should come play some more highly comp tourneys in Atl.
10) Blueclaws - another North GA team that is a good all around team that should play more highly comp tourneys.

teams that can beat anyone with ace:

ABA, Archer, 5star, Jackets, Warriors

Hello everyone, miss me?

1. Orange; even though going 1-2 in the south Carolina snit, they're probably the team to beat. I think they won last season at 10u? Early exit, but it's fall. Will losing almost half your kids come back to bit them in the heinie, same for the ECB, whoops, I mean, Ga. Bandits? Who knows. Strong showing at Elite 32.

2. OP; almost put them at 1, but Orange gave me more money. However they'll probably be the better of the team come spring. Solid pitching and defense b/c they can move kids around, but bats are sometimes questionable. They gave everybody a run last year, beat Orange and Navy a few times, and had a solid showing at Elite 32.

3. Bandits; the GEORGIA Bandits should be fine. Sometimes losing a couple of players is a good thing, regardless of how good* they are. Heavy fall schedule, but they've won two, so still a good team.

4. Navy, sometimes gaining a couple of players is a bad thing, regardless of how good* they are. They can hit, some fine pitching, but i hope they sell pop corn in the stands.

5. Showcase; good coaching, good pitching, good hitting, just needs to put it all together. I like this team.

6-10? whatever, nobody really cares anyway, do you?

But, Astros White could make some noise, Sandy Plains is now a major team and can't go slaying all the AAA and AA teams any more, Georgia Jackets could be solid, Blue Claws, Mizuno (might as well be ECB Yankees still), could all through a wrench in things.

So funny to see how 9 Strong keeps wasting his money putting op over Astros Orange. Last year you did the same thing and Orange beat OP 6 times losing only 2 against them I think last one it was at Elite 32 and guess what? this year they are even better, believe me, that team is loaded. Guys do not let ecb teams to fool you with their fall season performance you know that at the end Orange and Navy will be the top 2 teams. BTW I also believe Astros teams and maybe OP will need to play 12U major because the lack of competition they will face if they play 1U. Relax is only the fall.

They already do, they’re called the Astros. Two full teams wasting their time playing their age group. Just ask Wildpitch lmao!!

Great Triple Crown Tourney this weekend. Went out to watch and see...

Archer good strong team, Bandits still a strong team, glad to see the Prowlers finally get some credit above. This team has inched their way up the last few years. They came to play yesterday and won it all. Was about to leave and this Grand Slam went sailing over center field fence!! I'd like to know if the ever found that ball.

All three teams had solid defense and strong bats.

Haven't seen Navy at all this season yet so with all the shakeups hard to tell. Orange still looking strong and OP and Howze as well.

The credit Prowlers are getting is due to them finally winning a bigger event. (Even though the Top 3 were out but that isn't Prowlers fault)
Last year it seemed they never played in the bigger events.
Before the Fall is over, is there a big event that all the major teams will join so we can crown a Fall Champion?

my 2 cents

Prowlers and 5 Star both won good tourneys to bolster their cases to move up.

Half of Navy's team is new, not drinking the kool aid on that one. Orange and OP both virtually the same as last year and had good teams. No way Navy is front of either of them.

Archer beat Showcase and Mizuno ATL beat Archer so Mizuno should get the nod over those two.

Blue Claws haven't beaten anyone in this list, shouldn't be in top half.

Bandits hanging on by a thread, Elite Sluggers drop out.

Triple Crown has a few out of the list playing this weekend. Hopefully we have some head to head.

If it’s the norcross blue devil team from spring I’m not under estimating you. Y’all have potential just have to see you play some. I’m waiting to see the following teams also, Gainesville, Astros White, MC Bulldogs, Gamers, Ga Jackets.
