You all know it's really early but I've seen and heard too much lately regarding new teams, teams that broke up and all that other stuff that goes on this time of the year.
So, with that in mind, let's focus on the top 5 in 2011. They do it in college football so we can do it here too.
1) EC Braves - Until someone knocks them off their pirch, this is where they belong. Picked up two of the quickest players available as they look for speed and more speed. Biggest loss was they starting catcher but they should be able to find an adequate replacement.
2) Stealth Bomberz - If they can keep their core and a couple of more, they can contend with the Braves. Improve the defense and add another arm and now you got something.
3) EC Astros - I guess the former EC Rays get the Astros name this week, they lost two of their top 3 but added 2 Braves and a former Brave who has been in isolation working on a master plan for a "Michael Jordan" type comeback. If they add 1-2 impact players, should contend with #1 but can they play as a team and deliver under pressure?
4) Yard Dogs - Fun team to watch, parents are all into the action and it's never a dull moment. Like all great teams, the question will be can they keep it together and rock the house next season? Not being able to play in Triple Crown will limit their exposure. Time will tell, yo! yo! holla out Yard Dogs!
5) SP SPartans - This team was playing really well towards the end of last year, can they continue to add and contend on a week to week basis? 3 is the magic number here, find 3 players better then your bottom 3 and your as good to go baby!
Others in contention include, GA Grays, Gamers & Shiloh Titans.

At this rate, the EC Yankees will take on the Astros name. lol Also, I bet this list is not the same once all of the rosters are full. Way too early for this. |

We are gonna need more than three but I agree our top 5 was very strong at the end of the year. I just can't wait to play again and actually play the good talent instead of the AAA tourneys we played last year. |
