Our team would certainly play if it was local whether it was open or major. I cant speak for the Cards but I think they would play and Stealth are not far from here. |

I think we will have to wait and see if Shiloh picks up a couple of quality players from their tryout. I can tell you that besides the 2 Spartan players they picked up at the end of the season they also lost their #3 hitter, SS, and number 1 or 2 pitcher to the ECB Stars. That player and his Dad/coach will be a big loss to replace. They are a scrappy bunch but that is a lot of firepower to lose. It is very hard to find Major quality talent. They are a good group of folks and I wish them all the best. |

Wow, sounds like a major loss for the Titans and a big gain for the Stars. With the other additions, the Stars should be a solid major team next season. With the new SS and Catcher, it adds a new dimension to this team.
In addition to the SP Spartans, it looks like the EC Rays will be playing major ball next season. They have added some top notch talent in several ex-brave players along with a couple of others and are shooting for the moon, have they added enough to contend with the Braves? Some I've talked too say they have, it should be a much more competitive age group next season. |

Just to be clear, Shiloh picked up the two Spartan players in mid June for a few tournaments. They were not part of our core team that had a very good season up to that point. We plan on playing in many of the top tournaments in 2011, and believe we are a good option for the good players that live in, and around Gwinnett County. |

Titan is correct. The 2 Spartan players only played in the GS World Series(win) and the AAA State Championship(win) and one local 12u tournament(2nd). The point I was making is that the other player they lost was not only one of the their "core" players but INMO one of their best. The coach they lost with that player was also very good and will be a big addition to the Stars program this season. This is simply a fact and was not meant as disrespect. Again, time will tell the story but I know that for myself and Spartan 4 we look forward to seeing the Titans kids and parents in some of the Top tournaments next season. We are glad to see another Major team from this side of town and wish all the Titans the best of luck this upcoming season. |

Well I can say that me and Spartan25 obviously thought we were going to have a pretty good chance at combining the Titans/Spartans top players or we would have been much more prepared to form a top level major/elite team than we are now. I still believe that what our team will offer next year is a great option for players who want to have professional coaching both during practices and games. There will be ZERO daddy ball on this team and we will select the best 10-11 players available, with a goal of playing only the best competition. Making a roster at ages 8 or 9 will not secure a spot at the 12-13 age group. Hopefully this will attract the kind of talent that it takes to perform at the national level. |
